Dr Kenton Payne

Kenton is the Practice Principal. He qualified in 1990 at Kings College London and after completing his Vocational training here at The Elms has gained further experience in several Practices in the New Forest area. He has completed a clinical attachment in Oral Surgery at Winchester hospital. Kenton has also completed an Msc with distinction in Advanced General Practice at The University of Birmingham and has been awarded a membership in primary dental care from Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons. In addition, Kenton has passed the entrance examination to study for two years for a diploma in Endodontics. He will commence his studies in 2019. He also has a keen interest in dental photography.

Outside of work Kenton is a keen cyclist and has completed many rides for charities such as the Oakhaven Hospice, British Heart foundation and Dentaid.

Kenton also likes to play the piano for relaxation and has provided background music in local restaurants for functions and weddings.

Dr Tanya Burton

Tanya grew up in the New Forest before moving to London to study at Guy’s Hospital. Upon qualifying in 1999, Tanya joined the Royal Navy serving as a Dental Officer in a variety of locations and ships around the world. She returned to the New Forest working locally, before continuing her Naval career in Australia. Tanya has completed postgraduate studies with both the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the University of Sydney, maintaining a keen interest in restorative dentistry.

Tanya is an enthusiastic sailor with several ocean crossings, who regularly enjoys dinghy sailing. She is a keen walker and can often be found enjoying local walks or more challenging mountainous regions around the UK.

Sarah Bokota

Sarah is a dedicated dental hygienist with over a decade of experience in promoting oral health and wellness. Since qualifying from Eastman Dental Hospital in 2011, she has been passionate about educating patients and providing excellent care to ensure bright, healthy smiles.
Outside of work, Sarah is a proud parent to a son who has embarked on his school journey, bringing a new sense of adventure and joy to family life. When not at the practice, she loves to unwind by paddleboarding and exploring the great outdoors with her beloved dog, often enjoying peaceful forest walks that rejuvenate the spirit.
With a commitment to both professional excellence and personal fulfilment, Sarah continues to thrive in both her career and family life.

Charlotte Clinkaberry – GDC Number: 145436

Charlotte is a devoted dental nurse with over 20 years of experience in providing exceptional patient care. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep passion for ensuring patients feel comfortable and well-cared for.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her two young daughters and loves cooking, family holidays, and staying active through exercise. Her commitment to both her professional and personal life reflects her caring nature and strong work ethic.

Molly Hartwell – GDC Number: 270217

Molly is a skilled dental nurse with 10 years of experience, obtaining additional qualifications such as practice management, impression taking and radiography. She is known for delivering exceptional patient care and supporting dental teams in a fast-paced environment. With a calm and friendly demeanour, Molly ensures that everything runs smoothly, making patients feel at ease throughout their treatment.
Outside of work she is passionate about animals and enjoys spending time with her beloved pets, as well as her family and friends. When she’s not in the pratcice, you can find her in the kitchen, cooking up delicious meals, or taking long, relaxing walks along the beach to unwind and connect with nature. Her warm, caring nature and love for life’s simple pleasures make her a well-rounded and cherished member of both her professional and personal circles.

Karen Coucher – GDC Number: 128141

With 35 years of experience in the dental field, Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and a caring approach to our practice. Her extensive background as both a dental nurse and receptionist allows her to provide exceptional support to our patients. Karen ensures a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment you walk through the door, offering assistance with appointments, treatment coordination, and patient care. Her dedication to patient comfort and her deep understanding of dental procedures makes her an invaluable part of our team.
Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending time with her young grandson, socializing with friends and family, and keeping active with her energetic dog. Always approachable and friendly, Karen strives to make every patient’s visit as comfortable and welcoming as possible.

With over 20 years of experience as a dental nurse, Jennie is a skilled and compassionate professional who has dedicated her career to providing outstanding care to patients. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience in a wide range of dental procedures, always prioritizing patient comfort and well-being. In addition to her clinical expertise, Jennie has developed a keen interest in dental compliance and management, ensuring that the practice adheres to the latest regulations and operates efficiently. She is committed to maintaining high standards in both patient care and practice management, always striving for excellence.
Outside of her professional life, Jennie enjoys spending time outdoors – walking her dogs along the beach or hiking through the forest. She is also a passionate bell ringer, embracing the tradition and community spirit of the activity. Her blend of professional knowledge, management skills, and personal interests makes her a well-rounded and dedicated individual.

Lucy Dobbs – GDC Number: 225996

Lucy is a dedicated dental nurse with 17 years of experience in the dental field. For the past 3 years Lucy has had the privilege of working in a variety of practices, providing exceptional care and support to both patients and dental teams doing locum nursing. Her work as a freelance dental nurse allows her to bring flexibility and a fresh perspective to every setting, ensuring that patients receive great quality care even in unexpected circumstances.
Lucy is married and a proud mother to her little girl who’s just started her first year of school. When Lucy is not working, she enjoys taking forest walks, learning line dancing, and exploring her new hobby of crocheting.

Linda Waters

Linda is a friendly and dedicated receptionist who excels in creating a welcoming environment for all patients. Known for her excellent organizational skills and warm personality, she ensures every patient feels valued and cared for. Outside of her professional life, Linda has a deep love for travelling, always seeking new adventures and cultures to experience. She also enjoys quality time with her close-knit group of friends and especially treasures moments with her three granddaughters, who are the light of her life. Linda’s vibrant and caring nature shines through in everything she does, both at work and at home.
